In 2013 I had bought some Chinese brushes and ink with the intention of experimenting with them in my own work. In the Spring of 2014 I saw there was a class on Chinese Brush Painting (landscapes) at The Jung Center of Houston. I may not be the smartest guy alive, but I am smart enough to know that I don't know it all, so I decided to take the class.
I attended two semesters in 2014 and one in 2015 for this king of brush painting. I love to work in this medium as it shares certain qualities with what I do with ink in my Constellationism. There's a certain "letting go" or letting the ink do what it will on the paper. Painting in this way is truly a collaboration between the artist and nature (Tao) itself. It's like painting a picture with the universe.
I could go on and write more, but I'll let the following humble pieces say what they can instead.
